OBSCURE
“Obscure” proposed by Sydney Dance Company as an interactive screen installation. A group of students from different disciplines (mechanic, mechatronic, product design, and spatial design) is collaborating to create a structure with a mechanical and sculptural quality. The structure will be situated in the site as the main attraction and the core of the site and people and dancer will walk around it and the interactivity and visual quality of the installation need to operate in a way to show the structure with alive sense and pulsing feeling. The team collaborates to create a panel which is consists of individual palm size screens that are placed on a bed as infrastructure and design the structure in a way that reduces the mechanical feeling of the structure with the participation of coding and design to create an alive feeling.
