of artwork designed to raise awareness and generate conversations around such a polemical issue. It’s been also been created to expose and demystify assumptions, to encourage action, and to educate the public on issues relating to immigration and borders. Researching about theories related to migration flow and geopolitical determinism, inspired me to propose the feature of my design based on the line as the first element associated with borders. The physical design of Demarcation refers to Australia's border protection policy and the restrictions that exceed mere physical fences and walls. Peoples' interaction with the design has a symbolic interpretation of how boundaries limit human actions and how we transform borders by breaking them apart from all limitations. Our action refers to our desire to be free as a human, and our desire will change the solid-like structure into a dynamic one. Using light material, simple structure, more functional structure, strong wood joinery system, the simplicity of lines and shapes in structure and being multi-purpose to use influenced me to start my design. The first and most common usage of stools as an extra hight under feet to access to out of the way heights inspired me to attract to their form but in another way. Adding stair form as a part of my design can make it as a multi propose stool. A group of students from different disciplines (mechanic, mechatronic, product design, and spatial design) is collaborating to create a structure with a mechanical and sculptural quality. The structure will be situated in the site as the main attraction and the core of the site and people and dancer will walk around it and the interactivity and visual quality of the installation need to operate in a way to show the structure with alive sense and pulsing feeling.
