EARTHY CHAIR
Over the past century, the burning of fossil fuels and other human and natural activities has released enormous amounts of heat-trapping gases into the atmosphere and caused the rise in sea levels and melting Polar Ice Caps.
The earthy chair is consists of Ice cube and wood. Legs and back seat are made with pine wood. The effect of humans’ activities on global warming and melting icebergs and followed by this, increasing level of seas inspired me to make the seat part with ice. Because seat part of a chair is the most interactive part of it with human bodies and human bodies temperature can effect on that, thus I made seat part with ice to show my concept. The melting process can symbolise the effect of humans’ activities on global warming.
